Position Reports to: Supervisor

General Purpose: This position is primarily responsible for the Robotic/Offline Programming operations of robot equipment to build high quality parts.

Essential Duties:

  • Offline and online programming of robotic work cells, mostly in welding applications.
  • Communicates results and concerns to management for decision-making criteria
  • Fixture modifications and adjustments
  • Assist quality with first piece inspection process
  • Establish, maintain, and implement welding parameters to support production and quality assurance.
  • Assistance in project commissioning.
  • Providing DFM feedback on fixturing and components
  • Must be able to understand production quality and outflow impacts and able to judge the product quality level.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Computer Skills Required
  • CAD/ Cam experience highly preferredWelding experience preferred
  • Yaskawa Robot/OLP preferred but not required
  • Knowledge and understanding of equipment as related to manufacturing.
  • Experience in any 3-D virtual environment is highly preferred.

Wage: $20-$40 and hour depending on experience
