Position Reports to: General Manager
General Purpose: This position is responsible for the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials, as well as the supervision of warehouse personnel. This role will be responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of product and management of drivers within a specific territory.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials
- Supervises warehouse personnel
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
- Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse
- Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility
- Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss prevention and control
- Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable
- Manage and audit team members' time keeping
- 2+ years supervising warehouse/inventory staff preferred
- Warehouse/inventory experience required or experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
- Required: experience managing people
- Computer and database application skills
- Familiarity with inventory management
- Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product
- Forklift certification is required upon commencement of work
